Alexis Sanchez is reportedly a January target for Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane
Real Madrid have had a tough start to the La Liga campaign and are struggling for goals in the absence of Karim Benzema.
The Frenchman is sidelined with a hamstring injury, while Zinedine Zidane has also expressed his disappointment at losing Alvaro Morata to Chelsea.
However, the Real boss is reportedly looking to address the issue by snapping up Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez in January.
Spanish outlet Don Balon claim he has approached club president Florentino Perez about bringing in the Chile international.

The report says it is not the first time Zidane has asked for Sanchez as he also wanted him in the summer.
However, they doubt the Spanish side’s ability to compete with Manchester City for his signature, especially with no obvious place for him in their squad.
Sanchez would have to compete with Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio for a place in the starting XI.
And on top of this Arsene Wenger seems determined to keep him until the end of the season, despite his contract expiring in June.

“And when you see that now we only have [Borja] Mayoral that you might think we lack a No 9.
“I would have liked Morata to stay, but he wanted to play more and to leave.
