Liverpool FC will reach the Champions League final, claims legend

Luis Garcia believes that Liverpool could reach the Champions League final this season

The Reds have made a strong start to the new campaign under Jurgen Klopp by winning two of their opening three Premier League games to leave them in second place in the table.
Klopp’s side are preparing for a return to the Champions League group stage later this month after the German coach led them to a fourth-placed finish last term.
It will be the first time that Liverpool have competed in Europe’s elite club competition under Klopp.
And former Liverpool star Garcia feels that the Reds have every chance of being able to reach the Champions League final this season, and told Philippe Coutinho that it will be worth his while to focus on the Reds after his failed transfer to Barcelona
Garcia told talkSPORT: “He [Coutinho] needs to put his spot and why not?
“He can find himself in the Champions League final this year and I think no one is not going to say that Liverpool can not arrive to the final.”
Liverpool, who are yet to win a trophy under Klopp, will take on Spartak Moscow, Sevilla and Maribor in the group stage of the Champions League this season.
Before that, though, the Reds will play Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side at The Etihad on Saturday lunchtime as they look to continue their strong start to the new campaign.
