Neymar apologises to PSG, Cavani

The Brazil international left Barcelona for Paris last month in a world record €222m move and has set the French stage ablaze with five goals in seven appearances across all competitions. However, Neymar has also been involved in two set-piece scraps with his team-mates while reports claim a third scuffle took place in the changing room after Sunday’s 2-0 win over Lyon. French news outlet L’Equipe now reports that Neymar has issued an apology to the club and his team-mates, stating: “After the altercation that took place on Sunday between Neymar and Edinson Cavani, in the wake of the match against Lyon, the Brazilian apologised to the PSG players. “Neymar wished to apologise, on Wednesday, to all his team-mates, after their training session. “Thiago Silva served as an interpreter to his Brazilian compatriot, who regretted his attitude in the locker room.”
